Job summary

Cpl is seeking a Quality Manager for Mayo, overseeing quality and governance across a network of nursing homes. The role focuses on HIQA compliance, audits and driving improvements while supporting staff and policy implementation.

The successful candidate will mentor staff, oversee training, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and person-centred care, with travel across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with NMBI registration and postgraduate governance-related qualification.
• 3–5 years’ experience in quality, governance or compliance within healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Full Irish driving license and willingness to travel.

Our client, a large nursing home group with homes nationally, is seeking applications for the role of Quality Manager. The successful candidate will be joining an existing team which is expanding due to increased demand for quality service. You will lead quality and governance initiatives across multiple nursing homes, ensure compliance with HIQA regulations, conduct audits, develop improvement plans and mentor staff, oversee policy implementation and support staff training and promote a culture of continuous improvement and person-centered care.

• Registered Nurse (NMBI) with a postgraduate qualification in healthcare management, quality improvement or clinical governance
• 3–5 years’ experience in quality, governance, or compliance within healthcare
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills
• Full Irish driver’s license and willingness to travel
