Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd in Mayo, Ireland is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading nursing home. You will lead nursing and social care, ensure policy adherence, and oversee clinical standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive nursing experience, NMBI registration, and the ability to manage residents' complex needs. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality resident care and drive service improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a nurse.
• Registered on the NMBI live register.
• Demonstrates leadership, organizational and communication skills.
• Experience managing nurses in a residential setting preferred.
• Willing to work seven shifts over a two-week period.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of high nursing and social care standards.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain standards.
• Identify concerns and develop action plans with the Director of Nursing.
• Review residents with pressure sores, falls or clinical issues and plan management.
• Troubleshoot clinical and non-clinical issues with the Director of Nursing.
• Perform comprehensive resident assessments and monitor progress.

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager to a leading Nursing home in Mayo, Ireland.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the delivery of the highest standards of nursing and social care which meet the individual needs of each resident by e nsuring that the home policies and best clinical standards are always practiced
  
• Working with different staff members in all areas to ensure that standards are maintained
  
• Identify areas that may be of concern and follow up with the Director of Nursing to put action plans put in place
  
• Reviewing residents with pressure sores /sustained falls / clinically unwell, through clinical practices and documentation to ensure an appropriate management plan is in place
  
• Troubleshoot any ongoing clinical issues and non-clinical issues and elevate them to the Director of Nursing
  
• Perform comprehensive assessments of residents and monitor ongoing assessments and modifications
  

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience
  
• Registered on the NMBI live register
  
• Excellent Leadership, Organizational and Communication skills
  
• Over the course of two weeks, Candidate must work seven shifts.
  
• One year of experience managing nurses in a residential setting is preferred.
  
• Minimum 5 years' work experience as a Nurse
  
• Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative
