Quality InspectorWhat you need to know:Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our client based in County Longford who specialises in manufacturing packaging and components for the polymer/plastics industry.Your New Job:The Quality Inspector main responsibility is to ensure all products are within quality specifications and monitored through the manufacturing stages in adherence to compliance to ISO 13485 and ISO 14001.This is a permanent role on a 4-cycle shift – day and night shifts.Key Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections to ensure product compliance with specifications and ensure incoming material inspections are completed.
- Collaborate with production operators on all machines and processes to ensure quality requirements are understood and the quality program is effectively implemented.
- Ensure control of non-conforming products in accordance with SOP and support customer complaint investigations.
- Input data into the SPC Systems and oversee and enhance inspection techniques, metrology, systems, and procedures.
- Assist the organization in achieving KPI targets and managing the change process.
What are we looking for?- 2 years’ experience in manufacturing is essential.
