A leading company in sustainable transport infrastructure is seeking a Quality/Environmental Manager to oversee its Integrated Management System and ensure compliance with ISO standards. This role involves managing quality and environmental initiatives, preparing reports, and collaborating with various departments to improve sustainability efforts. Candidates should have a relevant level eight qualification in Civil Engineering, along with experience in quality systems and road network maintenance.

MissionThe Quality/Environmental Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of our existing Quality and Environmental systems. This currently includes ISO 9001 Quality, 14001 Environmental,45001 Safety, 50001 Energy Management and our current target to achieve 55001 Asset Management. CJV currently manage all these under our Integrated Management System (IMS). The Quality/Environment and Performance Manager is responsible for monthly reporting and the preparation of project quality packs, as builts, the management and recording of all testing and inspection requirements. Project quality packs are required for pavement schemes, gantry installation projects, ducting projects, works on structures and many more. The Environmental requirement has become a key driver in our organisation with multiple sustainability initiatives being implemented from transport decarbonisation, depot solar panel and LED projects, and Biodiversity trials. A Sustainability Champion will assist you on these elements.

• A level eight qualification recognised by the Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETEC) in Civil Engineering, or other equivalent professional qualification
• Membership of recognised industry body (Engineers Ireland, Institute of Asphalt Technology, Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation etc)
