Job summary

Jabil Waterford is seeking a Student Quality Engineer to support the development and implementation of quality plans and procedures. You will engage with QA operators, line coordinators, and batch release specialists to ensure GMP compliance and drive continuous improvement.

You will be pursuing an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, gaining hands-on experience in lean manufacturing and quality control statistics within a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Be pursuing an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, Electronic, Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
• Strong IT, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support release of assemblies including offline testing and paperwork.
• Update and create work instructions as required.
• Support validation and metrology activities.
• Drive process changes to minimise error risk in paperwork, sampling or testing.
• Coordinate with QA operators, line coordinators and batch release specialists for consistent batch completion and release.
