Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years in a pharmaceutical GMP environment.
  • Analytical equipment maintenance experience required.
  • In-depth knowledge in Quality Control (QC) equipment calibration and validation activities.
  • Familiarity with core quality management system (QMS) elements such as deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain QC equipment within qualified state for GMP readiness.
  • Review and approve RAMS/permits to work, liaising with EHS and vendors.
  • Support deviations, change controls, and CAPAs.
  • Perform periodic reviews of equipment validation/qualification status.
  • Execute sample management tasks using LIMS.

Job Description

An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Technician to join our Dundalk team.

In this essential role you will ensure our QC laboratory equipment is maintained, calibrated, and validated to meet GMP and regulatory expectations. You support the ongoing sample management and distribution processes using LIMS engaging with stakeholders from different departments.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:

  • Maintain QC equipment within their qualified state for GMP readiness.
  • Review and approve RAMS / permit to works, liasing with both EHS and vendors.
  • Follow site local procedures and training expectations.
  • Support déviations , change controls and CAPAs.
  • Perform periodic reviews of equipment validation / qualification status.
  • Perform sample management activities on site.
  • Execute sample management tasks using LIMS and other electronic platforms.
  • Support ad hoc tasks where and when required.
What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

Education
  • Minimum BSc Degree in a science related field.
Experience
  • At least 3+ years in a pharmaceutical GMP environment
