Job summary

PE Global is seeking a QC Analyst for a leading multinational pharma client based in Westport, Ireland. This contract position offers exposure to GMP/GLP environments and robust laboratory practices.

The role involves performing chemistry analysis on in-process and final products, maintaining documentation, using LIMS and Empower, and contributing to quality management systems while shifts rotate monthly.

Qualifications

• 3rd level science degree, preferably chemistry.
• 1–2 years’ GMP/GLP experience as an analyst.
• Experience with HPLC, GC and Empower.
• Good understanding of data integrity in a laboratory context.
• Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret test results.

• Collaborate with team, Supervisors, Quality Manager and Laboratory Manager to ensure QMS compliance.

Job description

PE Global is currently recruiting for a QC Analyst for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Westport.

This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Chemistry analysis of In process / Final product as per schedule and in accordance with regulatory requirements. Also perform analysis on Stability samples from a wide range of products
• Documenting all testing activities, results and raw data on time, accurately and legibly
• Use of laboratory IT systems including LIMS and Empower
• Reviews and interprets test results
• Adhering to all company standards in the areas of safety, housekeeping and quality, notifying management of any discrepancies
• Ensure good housekeeping and good laboratory practices
• Rotating shifts monthly
• Work with team, Supervisors, Quality Manager and Laboratory Manager to ensure compliance to Quality Management System

Requirements:

• 3rd Level Qualification in a Science Discipline, preferably Chemistry related.
• 1-2 Years’ experience working as an Analyst in a GMP/GLP environment.
• 1-2 Years’ experience of working with a range of Analytical Equipment specifically HPLC and GC and well as other laboratory techniques.
• Experience and good knowledge of Empower.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Data Integrity from Laboratory perspective.
• Excellent communication, organization, time-management and teamwork skills
• Demonstrate ability to work on one’s own initiative.
