Job summary

PE Global (UK) is seeking a QC Analyst for a leading multi-national Pharma client in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin. This contract position requires expertise in analytical techniques such as HPLC, as well as solid experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory setting.

Ideal candidates will hold a relevant degree and possess strong technical writing skills. The role involves reagent preparation, equipment calibration, and lab investigation support. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must have the right to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Hold a third level qualification in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology or similar.
• At least 3 years relevant experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Detail oriented and self-motivated with troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Reagent preparation for HPLC methods.
• Equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Training new QC analysts on pH Calibration.
• Testing in-process, stability, and finished product samples.
• Laboratory housekeeping and maintaining GMP standards.

Job description

PE Global is currently recruiting for an Qc Analyst for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Dublin.

This is a contract position.

Role

• Reagent preparation for the various HPLC methods
• Equipment Calibration, Maintenance and Trouble Shooting.
• Training of new QC analysts on pH Calibration.
• May require Testing of in process, stability and finished product samples. eg HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF analytical testing, characterization and sample and data management.
• Laboratory Housekeeping and maintaining GMP standards
• Laboratory Investigation support
• Assisting in regulatory audits

Requirements

• Hold a third level qualification (Degree/Diploma) in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology Biotechnology or similar Scientific Subject.
• Have at least 3 years relevant experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare environment.
• Be very proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel etc.
• Have strong technical writing skills.
• Be detail oriented, self-motivated with good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Be a self starter and capable of working on own initiative.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines
• Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, CE, SDS-PAGE, IEF testing would also be advantageous
