Job summary

BioMarin Ireland is seeking a QA Specialist to provide quality oversight for lot release and support continuous improvement within GMP standards. Based in Shanbally, Ringaskiddy, Cork, you will work with Manufacturing, Quality Control and Supply to ensure compliant product release and robust QA processes.

The role requires hands‑on quality experience in cGMP environments, attention to detail, and the ability to escalate non‑conformances and drive CAPA actions. Shift work is included.

Qualifications

• QA experience in cGMP environments
• Quality oversight and cross‑functional collaboration
• Ability to promote quality and drive continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Provide Quality input to ensure Lot Release of high‑quality products in compliance with GMPs.
• Compile Lot Release Packs per SOPs and FRMs.
• Support the Secondary Packaging Operations team including AQL inspections.
• Provide Quality direction for development and improvement of processes/systems.
• Escalate non‑conformances and ensure CAPA closures with root-cause analysis.
