Job description

Title: Regional Coordinator

Contract Length: 12 month initial contract

Overview:

This role provides quality assurance and control (QA/QC) support across various Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) photovoltaic (PV) projects. The role supports Regional EPC Managers, Project Managers, Contract Managers, and Procurement teams to ensure all quality requirements are anticipated, implemented, and aligned with internal standards and client expectations. Travel between sites will be required, particularly in the beginning of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Contractual Quality Requirements:

• Review client contracts to identify QA/QC obligations.
• Recommend contract modifications to align with internal quality policies and procedures.

Equipment Manufacturing & Supplier Quality:

• Develop and incorporate Quality Manufacturing Plans into supplier contracts.
• Coordinate with suppliers to validate required quality documents prior to equipment dispatch.
• Arrange and oversee factory inspections (FATs) if required.
• Review subcontractor agreements (mechanical, electrical, civil) to ensure clear QA/QC scopes and approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

On-Site Construction Quality Management:

• Draft site-specific Quality Management Plans and associated checklists.
• Prepare and implement ITPs in coordination with QA/QC Site Supervisors.
• Support onboarding of QA/QC site staff and conduct periodic site visits.
• Deliver quality training sessions to project teams.
• Lead regular project quality meetings and ensure timely resolution of Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs).
• Maintain accurate quality records in SharePoint and coordinate with client QA representatives to validate documentation.
• Monitor quality implementation progress across multiple projects and allocate resources effectively.
• Participate in recruitment for QA/QC site roles.

Quality Documentation & Handover:

• Compile complete quality documentation from manufacturing to construction stages.
• Prepare punch lists and conduct quality handover meetings with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) teams.

Technical Support to O&M:

• Provide QA support for biomass plant operations.
• Investigate technical failures, identify root causes, and prepare reports to support claims or insurer discussions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Experience:

• Degree in Engineering.
• Experience on PV plants
• Skilled in MS Office/MS Project.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems in project environments.
