A leading manufacturer of inertial sensors is seeking a Product Assurance Engineer to manage quality assurance tasks. Candidates should have a BSc/BEng in Engineering, with 3+ years experience in manufacturing, excellent communication skills and familiarity with quality standards. Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • 2+ years experience in a similar Product Assurance position.
  • Experience in cleanroom and ESD controlled areas.

  • Generate and maintain all Product Assurance-related documentation.
  • Ensure manufacturing activities are compliant with company quality policies.
  • Convene and chair Product Assurance reviews.
  • Manage non-conformances and conduct reviews.

Description

The Product Assurance Engineer shall act as the focal point of contact within the project concerning Product Assurance and Quality matters.

The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background having experience with electrical or mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact for all project related quality maters.
  • Generate and maintain all PA related documentation and ensuring compliance to customer requirements and effective implementation.
  • Ensure all manufacturing activities are performed in accordance with the company quality policy and project PA requirements.
  • Convene and chair PA reviews for key project milestones.
  • Manage non-conformances and conduct reviews to disposition accordingly.
  • Generate and update quality procedures.
  • Establish and maintain configuration lists.
  • Ensure changes are traceable throughout design and implementation.
  • Perform hardware inspections and complete quality inspection reports.
  • Host customer visits and quality audits.

Experience & Qualifications

  • BSc/BEng (hons) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
  • Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal), timekeeping, organisational & prioritising skills
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to a commutable distance of Dublin.
  • 2+ yrs experience in a similar Product Assurance position.
  • Experience in cleanroom and ESD controlled areas.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as ECSS (preferred).
