Job summary

Cental Ltd. is seeking a Quality Assistant to support the QA/QC team in maintaining quality standards across factory and site activities in Ireland. The role involves inspections, snag tracking, documentation, and supplier coordination, with opportunities to develop practical QA experience in construction and engineering.

Based in Carlow, the position offers exposure to W0, W1, W2 walkdowns, commissioning activities, and client submissions within a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, manufacturing or quality is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel, Word and SharePoint.
• Good communication and teamwork; ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily quality inspections in the factory and on-site.
• Inspect modules, equipment and installations using approved checklists.
• Assist QA/QC inspectors with walkdowns, FOKs, FATs and client inspections.
• Record snags, collect photographic evidence and follow up on closeout actions.
• Prepare, review and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports and client handover packs.
• Support material receiving inspections, supplier quality activities and supplier coordination.
• Maintain quality trackers, inspection registers and project records.
• Assist with NCRs, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate and maintain training records, competency matrices and certification documentation.
• Prepare and compile quality documentation packs for client submission.
• Support W0, W1 and W2 walkdowns and commissioning (Cx) activities.
• Provide QA/QC support for site activities, including inspections and snag closeout.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple quality-related activities.
