Job Description: The Role and Impact As a Customer Quality and Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction by driving technical quality support across the product lifecycle. From customer design qualification to production ramp and field returns, you will collaborate with customers to resolve technical challenges, analyze quality trends, and provide impactful support. Your work will directly influence Intel's product quality goals, ensuring robust platforms and accelerating customer success.

Business group You will join Intel's Customer Quality and Reliability organization, a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences through technical collaboration and quality assurance. This group focuses on aligning Intel's product development with customer needs, addressing technical challenges, and driving systematic improvements to enhance reliability, manufacturability, and satisfaction. By supporting Intel's broader mission of innovation and excellence, this team empowers customers globally to achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve technical quality issues, ensuring timely solutions to maintain business continuity.
  • Analyze customer quality trends and transform insights into systematic improvement actions to enhance platform robustness.
  • Drive quality support during customer design qualification, production ramp, and field returns, providing impactful technical guidance.
  • Align design for manufacturability (DFX/DFM) requirements and address customer production challenges for accelerated ramp success.
  • Communicate customer quality voice through expert listening to influence Intel's quality systems and future product goals.
  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts to ensure rapid resolution of customer technical issues.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, (e.g., Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Mathematics, or related field), with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in the domain, demonstrated through internships, academic projects, coursework or hands-on training OR Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and quality engineering fundamentals, with the ability to draw actionable insights from customer feedback.
    • Knowledge of manufacturability and reliability principles, including DFX/DFM practices.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges methodically and deliver practical solutions.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills, enabling seamless interaction with customers and cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with customer engagement and support processes in a technical environment.

EU Salary: We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. Annual Salary Range for this job which could be performed in Ireland is: € 37.600,00 - € 69.900,00. The compensation range displayed in this posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education, training. As part of our total compensation approach, the final offer may include additional pay components and benefits. Your recruiting team will share the confirmed base salary along with any applicable total compensation elements upon employment offer delivery.
