Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a QC Specialist – Separations to join our Quality Control team in Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland. You will provide technical expertise for analytical testing, equipment qualification, method transfer activities, investigations, and continuous improvement within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Prior supervisory experience in an IMB/FDA-regulated facility.
• Knowledge of FDA and EMA regulatory requirements applicable to biologics and/or pharmaceuticals.
• Sound technical knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory equipment in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and/or Microbiology.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day testing operations and QC activities.
• Coordinate qualification of analytical equipment and testing functions (HPLC, Spectrophotometry, Nephelometry, TOC).
• Coordinate sampling/testing during plant and utility qualification.
• Plan method transfer activities for NMEs and coordinate related testing.
• Review laboratory data, deviations, CAPAs, and Change Controls.
• Train laboratory personnel on analytical technologies and support lean initiatives.
