Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a QC Specialist - Separations to join the Quality Control team in Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland. You will provide technical support for testing operations and contribute to compliant, efficient QC activities within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

You will work with the QC Manager and teams to ensure analytical testing, equipment qualification, method transfer, investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives align with GMP and regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Prior supervisory experience in an IMB/FDA-regulated facility.
• Knowledge of FDA and EMA regulatory requirements applicable to biologics and/or pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day testing operations in a GMP environment.
• Coordinate qualification of analytical equipment and testing functions (HPLC, spectrophotometry, nephelometry, TOC).
• Coordinate sampling and testing during plant and lab qualification.
• Plan analytical method transfer activities for NMEs.
• Coordinate testing for raw materials, utilities, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Support analyst training programs and review laboratory data and investigations.
• Review specifications and assist LIMS scheduling; review deviations, CAPAs and Change Controls.
• Plan and oversee laboratory projects including method transfers and equipment qualification.
• Identify and support laboratory process improvements.
