Job summary

PE Global is recruiting a QC Micro Manager for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in South Dublin. This contract role focuses on QC Microbiology readiness as the site expands, building teams, processes, and lab capability for future operations.

As Manager, you will collaborate with QC, Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering to plan, develop and implement microbiology requirements, equipment, training and documentation, ensuring GMP compliance and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of biopharmaceutical QC or related GMP lab experience.
• Experience in regulated cGMP manufacturing/testing environment.
• Degree in a science-related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement QC Microbiology activities for site expansion.
• Lead QC Microbiology readiness and coordinate cross-functional activities.
• Develop and review GMP documentation for QC Microbiology operations.
• Specify and qualify microbiology lab equipment, media, and consumables.
• Plan resource, training and qualification for QC Microbiology personnel.
• Support environmental monitoring and microbiological testing programs.
• Supervise QC Microbiology staff and provide coaching.
• Ensure GMP compliance and inspection readiness.
