Job summary

Russell Tobin in Dublin is seeking a QC Instrumentation Engineer to support and optimise laboratory instrumentation, ensuring GMP compliance and driving improvements in qualification and performance.

You will review, approve documentation, lead investigations, and collaborate with vendors to implement new tools while staying aligned with regulatory standards. The role is onsite in Dublin, with Monday–Friday business hours.

Qualifications

• GMP environment experience with instrument management.
• Experience establishing instrument qualification procedures and documentation.
• Knowledge of data integrity requirements (21 CFR Part 11 / EU Annex 11) is desirable.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage calibration, maintenance scheduling, and lifecycle activities for QC laboratory instrumentation.
• Review and approve instrument qualification, calibration, repair, and maintenance documentation.
• Lead instrument-related investigations, troubleshooting, and performance trending for reliability and compliance.
• Support purchase, qualification, validation, and implementation of new laboratory instruments.
• Ensure GMP compliance, regulatory requirements and internal procedures with cross-functional teams and vendors.
