A leading pharmaceutical company is seeking a QC Co-ordinator Chemistry Student for a placement in Kerry. The role involves assisting in the QC area, including preparation of instruments for analysis and cleaning of glassware, following GMP and Safety procedures. This is a fully onsite position running from January to August 2026, suitable for students studying in relevant fields.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently studying at a 3rd level institution.
  • Strong familiarity with GMP and Safety procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of instruments for analysis and logbook records.
  • Clean laboratory glassware and dispose of completed analysis.
  • Participate in ongoing projects as required.

The Opportunity

The main function of this position is helping/support to QC area(s).

Key Activities For This Role
  • Preparation of; instruments for analysis, logbook records, analytical glassware.
  • Assistance with cleaning of glassware, disposal of completed analysis.
  • Use of Word, Excel as required for reporting purposes.
  • Participation in on-going projects where required
  • All laboratory duties are required to be carried out in accordance with GMP and Safety procedures.
Education
  • Studying a 3rd level degree in Business/Scientific or Technical discipline.

  • This is a student placement position.
  • Position is based in Kerry – Ireland.
  • This position is Fully Onsite.
  • Placement runs from Jan 26 – Aug 26.
