Job summary

Sanofi Waterford is seeking a QC Analyst to join our Quality Control team at the Waterford site. You will conduct analytical testing in a cGMP environment and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and timely reporting.

The role requires a degree in Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field, fluent English, and prior experience in pharmaceutical analytics; you will work with trained instruments and ensure compliance with HSE and quality systems.

Qualifications

  • Experience in analytical testing within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent English.
  • Degree in Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out analytical testing in a timely and organized manner, following agreed schedules and plans
  • Perform all tasks in line with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements, including relevant instructions, procedures, and records
  • Accurately record all raw data, calculations, and related information to meet cGMP and data integrity standards
  • Ensure you are appropriately trained and qualified for any analytical testing that requires formal qualification before carrying it out
  • Review quality control data generated by fellow analysts in a timely manner, in line with scheduled plans
  • Promptly inform your manager of any quality or safety-related events, such as deviations or out-of-specification results, to support appropriate investigation and impact assessment
  • Actively contribute to investigations you are involved in, helping to ensure thorough root cause analysis and impact assessment
  • Complete assigned Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) as part of remediation plans and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Help maintain laboratory facilities and instruments in a safe, clean, and fit-for-purpose condition at all times

Main responsibilities

About you
  • Experience: Experience in analytical testing within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Soft skills: Strong attention to detail; collaborative team player with clear and open communication skills; proactive approach to problem-solving; ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Technical skills: Working knowledge of cGMP principles and data integrity requirements; familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical techniques; experience using quality documentation systems
  • Education: A degree in Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Languages: Fluency in English

Salary

The salary range for this position is :€41 600,00 - €55 467 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
