Job summary

Kilsaran Precast is seeking a QA General Operative to join our team in Ireland. The role involves pre-pour and post-pour inspections, ensuring products meet QA standards, and communicating deviations to the QA team.

You will operate mechanical equipment and assist with loading deliveries, with a shift from 4:30pm to 2:30am Monday to Saturday. We value safety and quality, require the ability to read drawings, and prefer some machine experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and interpret drawings.
• Knowledge of construction industry.
• Machine experience is an advantage but not necessary.
• Manual Handling.

Responsibilities

• Performing pre-pour and post-pour inspections.
• Ensure products are completed in line with QA standards.
• Advising Unit Supervisor/QA Technician of any deviations to standards or specifications.
• Operation of mechanical equipment.
• Maintenance & cleaning of machines.
• General upkeep of the unit.
• Concrete finishing.
• Assist with loading of deliveries.

Shift - 4:30pm - 2:30am Monday Evening to Saturday Morning

As a QA General Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of duties.

Responsibilities:

• Performing pre-pour and post-pour inspections
• Ensure products are completed in line with QA standards
• Advising Unit Supervisor/QA Technician of any deviations to standards or specifications
• Operation of mechanical equipment
• Maintenance & cleaning of machines
• General upkeep of the unit
• Concrete finishing
• Assist with loading of deliveries

Your responsibilities are not limited to those outlined above, and you are expected to carry out other reasonable duties from time to time, as requested by your manager

Demonstrate a lead by example approach to all aspects of Health & Safety, be fully compliant with Company Health & Safety: policies, procedures, systems and rules, report all hazards and incidents and ensure that you work safely at all times
