Job summary

Air Apps is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile and web apps. You will build robust automated tests and strengthen API testing while performing hands-on validation when needed.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to expand test coverage, implement scalable testing strategies, and catch issues early to guarantee a smooth user experience across platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manual and functional testing.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.
• Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr, Xray).
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright).
• Strong programming experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Trello, Bugzilla).
• Experience testing web and mobile applications (iOS & Android).
• Attention to detail and ability to identify complex usability issues.
• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman).
• Ability to work in an agile development environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The Role

As a QA Engineer at, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality , reliability , and performance of our mobile applications. You’ll focus on building r obust automated tests and strengthening API testing processes while still performing hands-on functional validation when needed.

Working closely with developers, product managers, and designers, you’ll help identify issues early, expand test coverage, and implement scalable testing strategies that guarantee a smooth and stable user experience.

Your role will be essential in detecting bugs, verifying feature implementations, automating tests, and validating software stability before deployment.

• This is a fully onsite position , based at our office in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are open to support with relocation efforts.
