BSS Building Staff Solutions Limited is seeking a PVC Welder/Cladder for an upcoming project in Naas, Co. Kildare. The role requires performing PVC welding, fabricating components, and installing cladding according to drawings and specifications.

Applicants should have a valid Safe Pass Card, a Manual Handling certificate, and prior cladding or similar construction experience. Starting rate is 24.17 per hour on site in Naas.

Qualifications

• Valid Safe Pass Card is required.
• Valid Manual Handling Certificate is required.
• Previous experience as a cladder or similar role in construction is required.

Responsabilités

• Carry out PVC welding and plastic fabrication using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.
• Fabricate and assemble PVC components, including pipework, ducting, tanks, liners, covers, and other fabricated items.
• Install PVC cladding and plastic-lined materials in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and prepare PVC materials accurately before welding or assembly.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and fabrication specifications.
• Ensure all welds, joints, and finished products meet required quality standards.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, strength, appearance, and potential defects.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and correctly.
• Work with different PVC and thermoplastic materials as required.
