Job summary

Qualifications

  • Must already have right to work in Ireland; no sponsorship.
  • Master's degree or related work experience preferred.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Exposure to enterprise software or related ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Independent thinking, relationship and project management, attention to detail.
  • Analytical and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end PO creation and maintenance in 1ERP for high-volume orders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, sourcing leads, and vendors to resolve queries.
  • Manage PR-to-PO conversions to ensure smooth supply chain and avoid delays.
  • Maintain SOX/compliance and proper segregation of duties across groups.
  • Monitor 3-way matching and coordinate with Accounts Payable on invoicing.
  • Act as procurement liaison for internal partners on workflows and policies.

As a Procurement Analyst with Verizon Services Ireland’s Centre of Excellence you'll be working with some of the best professionals in the supply chain field. Right from the start you'll contribute to meaningful projects in the department and will be exposed to a variety of work assignments from different practice areas. Additionally, you will be able to participate in many different kinds of learning experiences.

What you will be doing:
  • Overseeing end-to-end purchase order creation and maintenance across assigned purchasing groups in 1ERP, managing high-volume, high-value orders.
  • Partnering directly with internal engineers, planners, sourcing leads, and key external vendors to answer queries, validate order requests and resolve any issues.
  • Managing PR-to-PO conversions to ensure seamless supply chain flow and eliminate shipping or invoice delays.
  • Maintaining strict audit and SOX compliance across all purchasing groups, ensuring proper segregation of duties and closing gaps in commercial ownership.
  • Monitoring 3-way matching controls and working closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing issues and payment blocks.
  • Serving as an operational point of contact for internal business partners, planners, and Sourcing Leads regarding procurement workflows, system capabilities, and compliance policies.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field, or relevant experience.
  • Willingness to work virtually and in-person, and to attend company events.
  • Experience in a business or related field and / or a project portfolio that supports.
  • To be considered for this role, applicants must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland. We are currently unable to support employment permit sponsorship.
  • Even better if you have one or more of the following: Master's degree or related work experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and /or Google Suite.
  • Exposure to enterprise software or related enterprise systems (ERPs).
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship and project management, and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and leadership skills.
Where you’ll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager. Limerick, LK, IE.
