OpenSky Data Systems in Naas, Co. Kildare, Ireland, seeks a Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working.

You will deliver software, data and analytics projects for public sector clients across Ireland, coordinating cross-functional teams and driving successful outcomes. Reporting to a Programme Manager, you will own delivery from planning to closure, use Jira and MS Project, manage risks, and communicate with stakeholders to maintain quality, schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of IT project management or technology delivery experience.
• Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies and planning.
• Strong English communication, stakeholder management, and governance skills.
• Ability to drive clarity and progress without supervision.
• Experience delivering software or technology projects using Jira/MS Project.
• Willingness to learn AI-assisted delivery tools to improve planning and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Own delivery from scoping and planning through to execution and closure.
• Forecast resources and manage capacity with the team to avoid over/under-allocation.
• Manage budgets, invoicing, and timesheet compliance.
• Maintain RAID logs, project plans, and status reporting.
• Collaborate with public sector clients and stakeholders; present updates at governance meetings.
• Leverage Jira/MS Project and other tools to automate tracking and reporting.
• Mentor and support less experienced team members.
