Job description

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Responsibilities

• Assist with promoting the profile of ADAPT throughout Limerick city and county using social media
• Assist in the design of ADAPT promotional materials
• Attend awareness raising events as required
• Assist with the 16 Days of Action campaign and any other campaigns that ADAPT may run
• Assist with promoting fund-raising events on social media and assist in preparing and helping out with fund-raising events as required
• Assist in the promotion of ADAPT Shop using social media
• Design posters and leaflets to promote ADAPT Shop
• Consistently update the ADAPT social media accounts
• Photographing of shop items for online sales e.g. Facebook, Instagram online market places
• Maintain records relevant to all duties as outlined in the Staff Handbook
• Record all requests for public awareness materials on computer
• Attend all meetings relevant to this position
• Assist in other areas of ADAPT Shop as required
• Maintain the Shop to statutory health and safety standards at all time
