Job summary

AIB Group is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead the Prudential Advisory function within Regulatory Compliance. The role focuses on providing guidance on prudential regulations, challenging senior management, and embedding a strong risk culture across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial regulatory compliance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with 1LOD/2LOD teams and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with banking regulations and guidance.
• Five years in financial services or related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive second line regulatory compliance plan across the Group.
• Challenge senior management with evidence-based insights to influence decisions.
• Assess prudential control environment and risk horizon to guide management.
• Support the Compliance senior management team in strategic direction.
• Present independent second line views at Risk and Board committees.
• Provide timely risk advice to the business and train first line teams on regulatory changes.
• Review AIB Group policies and perform regulatory gap analyses.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory landscape and internal processes.
