Job summary

Uniphar Group in Ireland is seeking a Retail Buyer to manage the monthly promotions process, coordinate with symbol brands, and produce promotions communications across URS teams for POS implementation.

The role requires EPOS/SAP experience as an advantage, 1+ year in retail buying, strong cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving mindset to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• EPOS/SAP experience an advantage.
• A strong understanding of the pharmacy market an advantage.
• Minimum 1+ year experience in a similar retail buying role.
• Ability to work cross functionally with internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive ‘problem solving’ mentality who is willing to grow in the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly promotions process on agreed symbol brands.
• Produce monthly promotions communications & liaising with wider URS teams on POS and implementation.
• Sourcing pricing submissions & imagery from suppliers.
• Working closely with the EPOS database team on product set up & accuracy on system.
• Working closely with the wholesale team on stock forecasting & pricing.
• Team lead on communications with the stores on stock, ranges & promotions.
• Briefing marketing team on monthly promotional requirements i.e. banners.
• Supporting the buyers on stock & margin reviews.
