Job summary

Uniphar Group is seeking a Retail Buyer based in Ireland to manage monthly promotions on symbol brands and liaise with URS teams for POS implementation. You will source pricing and imagery from suppliers and ensure accurate product setup in the EPOS system.

The role requires 1+ year in retail buying, strong numerical and analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally across internal teams. Experience with EPOS/SAP is advantageous, with a focus on stock forecasting and margin

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a similar retail buying role.
• Ability to work cross functionally with internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Positive problem-solving mentality and willingness to grow in the role.
• Understanding of the pharmacy market is an advantage.
• EPOS/SAP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing the monthly promotions process on agreed symbol brands.
• Producing monthly promotions communications and liaising with URS teams on POS and implementation.
• Sourcing pricing submissions and imagery from suppliers in a timely manner.

• Collaborating with the wholesale team on stock forecasting and pricing.
• Leading communications with stores on stock, ranges and promotions; briefing marketing on monthly requirements; supporting buyers on stock and margin reviews.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Managing the monthly promotions process on agreed symbol brands
• Producing monthly promotions communications & liaising with wider URS teams on POS and implementation
• Sourcing pricing submissions & imagery from suppliers in a timely manner
• Working closely with the EPOS database team on product set up & accuracy on system
• Working closely with the wholesale team on stock forecasting & pricing
• Team lead on communications with the stores on stock, ranges & promotions Briefing marketing team on monthly promotional requirements i.e. banners Supporting the buyers on stock & margin reviews

Qualification, Experience & Skills Required

• EPOS/SAP experience an advantage
• A strong understanding of the pharmacy market an advantage
• Minimum 1+ year experience in a similar retail buying role
