Job summary

Mitchell McDermott, based in Dublin, is seeking an experienced Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You’ll work on high-profile construction projects, delivering cost management excellence from early pre-contract through to completion.

You will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience, a relevant third-level qualification, and strong client-facing skills. Data Centre project exposure and M&E background are advantageous. Chartered status or progress toward it is preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience across a wide range of sectors.
• Construction Stage Data Centre experience (preferably with a consultancy).
• Experience in pro-actively managing projects.
• Background in Mechanical and Electrical projects is a plus.
• Experience, pre or post contract, acting as a CQS or PQS is advantageous.
• Chartered or working towards chartership, ideally.
• Excellent client-facing profile with relevant sector experience.
• Motivated and diligent team player, willing to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Lead on-site activities and coordinate with clients and consultants.
• Collaborate with M&E and other specialist teams to ensure project milestones.
