A community service organization in Kildare seeks a Senior Supervisor/Instructor to deliver a unique internship programme for individuals with intellectual disabilities. You will manage curriculum development, student recruitment, and job coaching. The ideal candidate will have QQI Level 5 in relevant fields and excellent communication skills. This full-time role includes 25 days of annual leave, pension contributions, and flexible hours.
2 x One year contract / 1 x Maternity Leave Contract. Full-Time - 35 hours per week. Senior Supervisor/Instructor Salary Scale €40,521 to €54,705 DOE.
Project SEARCH is a unique, business-led programme established in Ireland through the partnership of Kare and Naas Hospital and Midland Park Hotel. Project SEARCH is a one year internship programme based on site that enables people with an intellectual disability to gain a broad range of skills. The project offers on-site training and support facilitated by the Project Coordinators to enable the participants to gain real employment skills. The opportunity to learn in the workplace environment is a key element to this innovative and successful programme. Kare is delighted to announce that we will commence a second project to enable this opportunity to be available to more people.
This role will be employed by Kare with the support of Pobal. Pobal works on behalf of Government, and in conjunction with communities and local agencies, to support social inclusion and local and community development.
