Job summary

AECOM in Dublin is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join the Cost Management team. You will deliver cost management from inception to completion, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure value for money while meeting programme, quality, and sustainability goals.

You'll handle cost estimates, cost plans, tender management, and Bills of Quantities, mentoring graduates and building strong client relationships across healthcare, education, hotels, and residential sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Membership of, or working towards membership of, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or an equivalent professional body.
• Experience administering and working with RIAI and GCCC contracts
• Experience in measurement and quantification, including the use of CostX software.
• Experience in the preparation of Bills of Quantities and cost planning

Responsibilities

• Provide cost management services throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and feasibility studies.
• Assist with procurement strategies and tender documentation.
• Manage tender processes, analyse bids, and prepare tender reports.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and other contract documentation where required.
• Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reporting.
• Identify and manage commercial risks throughout project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor graduate quantity surveyors where appropriate.
