Job summary

AECOM is offering an immediate graduate opportunity for a Quantity Surveying graduate (0 to 2 years’ experience) to join our project cost management team in Ireland, with our Dublin office and potential for another Irish location for the right candidate.

You will work on local projects and alongside teams across the UK and potentially further afield, involved in all stages from definition and cost planning through procurement, construction and building use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantity Surveying (minimum 2:1 or equivalent).
• Relevant work experience would be an advantage.
• Enthusiastic, hard-working, technically proficient, with ambition and drive.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills beneficial.
• Willing and able to work towards professional qualification with SCSI/RICS.
• Demonstrable interest in Cost Management.
• Ability to work with clients and understand financial implications.
• Good communication with internal and external clients, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract duties: cost modelling, cost planning, benchmarking, value and risk analysis, lifecycle costing, procurement tasks, contract documentation.
• Post-Contract duties: attend site progress meetings, valuations, financial reporting, due diligence, change control management.
