Job summary

Ramboll Group A/S in Dublin seeks an experienced Planner to develop and manage project programmes across major infrastructure schemes in Ireland. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and commercial teams to deliver integrated, robust schedules throughout the project lifecycle.

You will contribute to programme controls, provide accurate reporting and support decision-making to keep projects on time and aligned with milestones.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning or scheduling on major infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of programme planning principles and project controls.
  • Experience with Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or equivalent scheduling tools.
  • Ability to develop and manage detailed project schedules across multiple phases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and update detailed project programmes and schedules.
  • Integrate design, procurement and construction activities into coherent plans.
  • Monitor progress against baselines and report variances to stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, delays and critical path impacts and support mitigation.
  • Produce programme reports, dashboards and progress updates for teams.

Are you an experienced Planner with a strongtrack recordin programme planning and scheduling on major infrastructure projects? You will play a key role in developing,managingandmonitoringproject programmes acrossnationally significant D&B infrastructure projects in Ireland including metro, aviation, rail,waterand highway schemes.

Your new role
As Planner, you willbe responsible forsupporting the development and management of project schedules across major infrastructure projects in Ireland. You will work closely with project managers,engineersand commercial teams to ensure robust, integrated programmes are in place and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

You will contribute to programme controls, providingaccuratereporting and analysis to support decision-making and ensure projects are delivered on time and in line with key milestones.

Working pattern
Hybrid role requiring office and site attendance asrequired, witha majority ofprojects delivered in and around Dublin.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Developing,maintainingand updating detailed project programmes and schedules
  • Supporting the integration of design,procurementand construction activities into coherent, deliverable plans
  • Monitoring project progress and performance against baseline programmes
  • Identifyingprogramme risks,delaysand critical path impacts, and supporting mitigation strategies
  • Producing programme reports, dashboards and progress updates for project teams and stakeholders
  • Supporting change management processes, including assessment of programme impacts
  • Assistingin the development of programme controls,governanceand reporting frameworks
  • Reviewing contractor programmes and ensuring alignment with project requirements
  • Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure realistic planning assumptions and sequencing
  • Contributing to scenario planning, what-if analysis and recovery planning whererequired
  • Supporting the implementation of planning best practices,toolsand systems

About you

  • Experience in a planning or scheduling role on major infrastructure or construction projects (e.g. metro, aviation, rail,waterand highways schemes)
  • Strong understanding of programme planning principles, schedulingtechniquesand project controls
  • Extensive experience using various planningsoftwares(e.g. Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or equivalent)
  • Ability to develop and manage detailed project schedules across multiple phases
  • Understanding of critical path analysis, progressmeasurementand programme reporting
  • Experience reviewing contractor programmes and assessing impacts of change
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to interpret programme data andidentifyrisks and opportunities
  • Strong communicationand coordination skills, with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Degree in engineering, construction management, projectmanagementor a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
