Position Description

TechSource is a leader in providing specialized technical and scientific expertise, supporting national security projects with innovative solutions. Partnering with Fluor, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), and Battelle Savannah River Alliance (BSRA), TechSource collaborates with government agencies, national laboratories, and universities to ensure the success of complex projects like the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF). Through these partnerships, TechSource plays a critical role in workforce development and technical support for SRPPF's long-term success.



BSRA, a nonprofit operated by Battelle Memorial Institute, focuses on driving operational excellence, safety, and modernization at the Savannah River Site (SRS), contributing to national security and environmental management missions.



As a trusted partner to SRS, TechSource ensures the safe production of plutonium components for the U.S. nuclear stockpile. This collaboration offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects essential to the nation's defense infrastructure.

At TechSource, we're always seeking talented individuals for upcoming opportunities, particularly on the Savannah River Plutonium Processing Facility (SRPPF) project. By applying to our Project Engineer position, you'll be considered for current and future Project Engineering roles as they become available, ensuring you're ready to contribute to critical, mission-driven work in national security.



All opportunities with TechSource, SRS and the SRPPF will be 1-year contracts available for renewal and full-time conversion. All full-time TechSource employees are eligible for full-time benefits.



  • Must have 15-20 years of applicable experience in one of the following disciplines:
    • Mechanical engineering
    • Systems engineering
    • Electrical engineering
    • Construction engineering

  • Must have 5-10+ years of experience in a management position
  • Must have 5+ years of demonstrated experience in the nuclear industry
  • Must have a bachelor's, ideally a masters, in a related scientific or engineering field
  • Must have demonstrate personal accountability for facility/project schedules, deadlines, budgets, and the safe performance of work
  • Must have an ability to pass a federal background check and federal drug test
  • Must have an ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance
  • Must be able to be onsite in Aiken, South Carolina 4-5 days a week


Preferred:


  • Previous experience at the SRS and the SRPPF, Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), or previous working for a government contractor experience.
