Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence and high quality across sectors.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, cost and risk, build strong client relationships and support bid activities, all while complying with governance and regulatory requirements and driving collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Your impact

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects through the full lifecycle, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the delivery of infrastructure projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Leading multidisciplinary project teams across a range of sectors.
  • Managing project scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
  • Monitoring project performance and implementing effective controls and reporting processes.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and opportunities.
  • Supporting bid and business development activities as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant governance, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
  • Driving collaboration across internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
About You

We're looking for a motivated and collaborative project professional with a proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects in a consultancy, client-side, or contractor environment.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience managing complex infrastructure or capital projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management skills.
  • Commercial and financial management experience.
  • Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments.
Locations: Dublin, Cork or Belfast (Hybrid Working)

Here's what you'll need

  • Degree-qualified Engineer with Chartered status (or actively working towards Chartership).
  • Proven project management experience across major infrastructure projects, including transport, development, housing, and urban regeneration schemes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong working knowledge of NTA and TII Project Management Guidelines and their application to infrastructure project delivery.
  • Experience administering and managing both Employer-Designed and Contractor-Designed Public Works Contracts, and/or NEC contracts.
  • Strong commercial, contractual, programme, and risk management capabilities.
  • Experience managing project scope, cost, schedule, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience delivering projects within consultancy, client-side, or contractor environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Project Management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering projects across transportation, active travel, highways, water, utilities, or wider infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of Irish planning, consenting, and infrastructure delivery processes.
  • Experience working within public sector and semi-state client organisations.
  • Commitment to mentorship, team development, and fostering collaborative project environments.
