A leading environmental solutions provider is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team!

THE COMPANY:

Our client, established over 30 years ago, is the top provider of environmental solutions and services to the water, wastewater, environmental, and industrial sectors. They offer comprehensive services including supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and routine servicing across all MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) disciplines.

Our client continues to set the standard in delivering environmental monitoring and detection solutions for both private and municipal clients. Their Control & Automation division is one of the largest in Ireland, and with a financial turnover in the multi-millions, they are expanding and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to further enhance their large team of over 50.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will be predominantly site-based in Carlow with some site visits around the Leinster region. They will have the following duties:

1. Managing projects through the full lifecycle - design, procurement, construction, and handover.
2. Working on Irish Water contracts, mostly on water treatment plants throughout the country.
3. Development of design drawings, technical reports, and submittals + risk assessments and method statements.
4. Planning, scheduling, and coordinating all works on-site, including labour and equipment + overseeing Health & Safety and Quality.
5. Carrying out site visits throughout the various stages of each project to ensure works are carried out to a high standard.
6. Monitoring and controlling budget and expenditure and resolution of final accounts.

THE PERSON:

We are looking to speak to candidates from the following backgrounds:

1. Strong Project Management experience is essential with the ability to work autonomously through the full lifecycle of projects.
2. A mechanical or electrical background is a requirement.
3. Experience in Process Industries is extremely advantageous (Water, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage).
4. A Building Services background will also be considered.

• Salary: €70,000-€80,000 DOE
