Job summary

EPS Group is seeking a Project Manager for the Drogheda/Dundalk region to drive project planning, design development, quality assurance and delivery activities. You will manage your own projects and may supervise project engineers, ensuring governance and KPI alignment across initiatives.

The role involves collaboration across procurement, construction, and site teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and effective stakeholder communication.

Job description

EPS are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for the Drogheda/Dundalk region. The Project Manager will assist with our project planning and coordination, product design development, quality assurance and delivery activities. The Projects Manager will manage their own projects and may oversee a number of project engineers. Framework Governance & Delivery Act as EPS Contractor's Representative within the ECI Framework. Implementation and continuous improvement of project delivery principles. Development and maintenance of SOPs, standardised processes, and project governance structures. Monitoring project performance against contractual KPIs and Pain/Gain mechanisms. Participation in Workshops, ALMs, HAZOPs, and programme/project reviews. Review and escalation of any matters requiring attention. Programme & Project Delivery Management Oversight of programme delivery programmes across multiple projects. Monitoring project progress and supporting Site PMs in achieving contractual delivery milestones. Attending project review and progress meetings. Project Development & Design Management Review and comment on Project Brief and Commissioning KPIs prior to being issued by client. Management of project progression from PCI through PDI, detailed design and Construction Issue stage, ensuring project readiness for construction delivery. Coordination of multidisciplinary design development activities and constructability reviews. Management of design interfaces between internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors. Oversight and coordination of BIM Document Control requirements and procedures throughout the programme. Procurement & Supply Chain Management Review technical and commercial quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Evaluate supplier and subcontractor proposals, making recommendations based on technical compliance, programme requirements, commercial considerations, and project risks. Support supplier and subcontractor selection processes. Coordinate procurement activities to align with project delivery programmes. Monitor long-lead items and fabrication schedules to ensure timely delivery. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to resolve technical, commercial and delivery queries. Support subcontract negotiations and supplier performance management. Construction & Delivery Support Provide technical, commercial and programme support and guidance to Site Project Managers. Coordination of project activities between design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and handover phases. Coordinate commissioning and process proving resource requirements. Support project close-out and handover activities. Coordination of ecology, archaeology, and other project-specific requirements. Commercial Support Review and reporting of project commercial performance. Participate in commercial reviews, including assessment of valuations, claims, EWNs, variations and commercial risks. Support submission of EWNs and review of same with client. Quarterly Risk Register Reviews with client. KPI reviews. Monitoring project performance against commercial targets and forecasts. Negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers. HSQE & Compliance Support Implementation of standard EPS HSQE structures and reporting. Oversight of PSDP and PSCS responsibilities across projects. Support of project compliance, safety, and quality requirements. Resource Planning & Workforce Management Development of project staffing structures and resource plans. Identification of future resource requirements across the framework. Coordination of fabrication schedules and specialist M&E, commissioning and process proving resources. Support of recruitment, onboarding, and staff integration activities People Management & Team Development Onboarding of new staff. Mentoring of junior staff. Conducting staff performance reviews and development discussions. Promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing across project teams. Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Support, training and development of the IFS Workflow App and related systems. Development and implementation of standardised project folder structures and document controls. Production of programme, commercial and HSQE reports. Identification and implementation of process improvements across the EPS ECI framework.
