Project Manager

• Degree educated, commercially aware, experienced in project delivery

ESSENTIAL:

• A Building, Engineering, Construction or Project Management degree.
• Member of Engineers Ireland or other relevant professional body.
• Experience in project engineering in Railways or relevant regulated engineering environment.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant general management and project management experience.
• Demonstrable ability to produce and manage budgets and schedules for projects of similar size.

DESIRABLE:

• Experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects, preferably in a railway environment.
• Knowledge of Railway Systems, Customer Information Systems.
• Knowledge of railway infrastructure and operations.
• Understanding of good Project Management Procedures.
• Experience managing design consultants and contractors.
• Knowledge of contract management and Public Works Contracts.
• Knowledge of the Construction Regulations.
• Experience implementing Safety Management Systems.
