Project Manager – Tech Transfer Project Manager

12 Month Contract

Position Overview

Reporting to the Tech Transfer Manager for small molecule operations, the Tech Transfer Project Manager will oversee and coordinate multidisciplinary teams involved in introducing a new four-stage NPI into the TILGC P1 facility. This role will take ownership of developing, maintaining, and tracking the project schedule, as well as managing the associated budget. The successful candidate will provide regular progress updates to both on-site and off-site stakeholders and take responsibility for risk assessment, mitigation planning, resource allocation, and issue resolution to ensure the project is delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, interdependencies, and critical milestones.
  • Lead and monitor the execution of a large-scale (4-step) NPI manufacturing initiative within the site’s API facility.
  • Design and apply robust risk management strategies, identifying potential issues early and implementing measures to reduce impact.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to integrate risk mitigation into project workflows.
  • Communicate potential risks and project updates regularly to the Tech Transfer Manager and senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, regulatory, and timeline requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with teams across Production, Capital Projects, Finance, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and global functions to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively to achieve on-time and cost-efficient delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Project management certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and processes.
  • Understanding of GMP principles and practices.
