PE Global is recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of our utilities client. This is an initial 18 month contract, hybrid role, based in Leopardstown, Dublin.

Job description

PE Global is recruiting for a Project Manager on behalf of our utilities client. This is an initial 18 month contract, hybrid role.

This role is based in Leopardstown, Dublin.

Position Description

The purpose of the business project is to redesign and improve the process for large demand customers seeking new or increased connections to the distribution system, experience in a customer centric environment will be essential.

The Project Management Support role will support the customer project team with mobilisation and planning of the key project objectives. The role will support the business team with the tracking of the project benefits, governance and reporting, risk and dependency management, coordinate cross team workshops, document team meetings and external customer meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Help deliver the customer project scope, objectives, deliverables and overall delivery plan
• Produce concise status reporting covering progress, key decisions, risks and areas requiring management attention
• Translate identified customer pain points and improvement opportunities into a structured action plan.
• Track expected benefits and customer outcomes, such as reduced effort, improved communication
• Set up an appropriate governance structure, including project meetings, decision forums and escalation routes
• Maintain a RAID log covering risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
• Proactively identify cross-team dependencies and support escalation and resolution where required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Strong IT skills including Project Management, Share point and MS Word
• Good communications skills
• Experience of working in a customer centric environment
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to change

Qualifications

• Relevant Qualification in Project Management , Customer Experience or a Commercial / Business discipline.
• Legal permission to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Minimum 5 years work experience including project management experience.
