Project Engineer – Life Sciences Projects

Are you a motivated and skilled Project Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering and at least 4 years of experience in the Life Sciences sector? If you are, we want to hear from you.

Join our network of professionals working on exciting pharmaceutical projects. We collaborate with leading companies across Ireland both on the Client and Consultancy side to deliver innovate solutions, always complying with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, and facility expansions, ensuring budgets, timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure all project activities adhere to GMP, safety and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
  • Develop and review detailed designs, equipment specifications, and layouts for mechanical components and systems.
  • Provide technical expertise to contractors and internal teams, ensuring project work meets clients’ specifications, safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Work alongside with suppliers and contractors for equipment procurement, installation and commissioning.
  • Supervise risk assessments and ensure all projects are in compliance with strict safety standards and protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical schedules, reports, and progress updates
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 4 years+ of experience in project engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GMP standards and pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record in management of projects, involving mechanical equipment, systems and facilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
