Job summary

EPS Group in Drogheda is seeking a Project Engineer - Design and Co Ordination for a site-based upgrade at the Drogheda WWTP. You will work within a dynamic design team, coordinating process, mechanical and electrical inputs and ensuring BIM Level 2 documentation aligns with Irish Water specifications.

The role requires on-site experience, with PSDP/PSCS duties support, technical meeting organisation, and collaboration with suppliers to deliver within time and budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years on-site experience.
• Experience in design and build of wastewater projects.

Main Contractor: EPS Ltd

Projects comprise as follows.

Mechanical and Electrical Upgrade works of the existing Wate Water Treatment plant Infrastructure at Drogheda Co Louth.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Working on site within a dynamic Design Team Environment
• Support the site implication of PSDP duties and responsibilities

• Support the site implication of PSCS duties and responsibilities

• Co – Ordination of Process & Mechanical & Electrical designer inputs.
• Support EPS appointed designers with the development of Process Civil Mechanical design requirements with site data.

• Co – ordination of supplier design information.

• Organise and document technical meetings.

• Undertake project documentation management All designs & supporting information is delivered using a BIM (Building Information Modelling) Level 2 solution in accordance with Irish Water Specifications and the agreed BIM execution plan.

• Assisting with purchasing and acquisition of all BOQ items for projects including labour, parts and materials.
• Ensuring the design phase of the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the waste water Industry.
• Have proven experience in an engineering role in a Civil/Mechanical environment.
• Implementing opportunities and initiatives in a time restricted schedule.
• Develop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlines.

Skills / Attributes;

• Experience would be preferable to include Mechanical / Electrical and/or Wastewater Treatment
• Minimum 3 or more years on-site experience.
• Previous experience in design and build of wastewater projects.
• Possess a positive and pro-active approach to working in a team environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience would be desirable with AUTODESK/Navis Works / BIM 360/ACC/ MS Project/P6
