This role is based in our office in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, involving project execution for the European team. It requires regular travel to Europe, especially Denmark and Switzerland.

Job Description

This role is based in our office in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, involving project execution for the European team. It requires regular travel to Europe, especially Denmark and Switzerland.

Duties and responsibilities:

  1. Design Stage:
  2. Lead design of pharma pure fluid utility requirements, ensuring compliance with pharma norms, regulations, and customer specifications.
  3. Participate in product evolution and range development.
  4. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

Project Stage:

  1. Manage projects efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow until handover.
  2. Participate in hand-over meetings to clarify contract conditions and scope.
  3. Review designs to ensure compliance with requirements, budgets, and installation methods.
  4. Verify water analysis, mechanical/hydraulic, and electrical design requirements.
  5. Monitor progress, prepare reports, and attend meetings.
  6. Identify, quantify, and agree on variations with clients.
  7. Coordinate with other departments to meet project timelines.
  8. Prepare hand-over documentation and schedule commissioning.
  9. Conduct post-project reviews for performance improvement.

Finance:

  1. Monitor scope, time, and budget; approve variations.
  2. Prepare cost spreadsheets and manage project margins.

Customer Liaison:

  1. Represent the company in all project-related communications.
  2. Maintain professional and courteous client interactions.
  3. Plan site operations with relevant organizations.
  4. Attend site meetings and issue minutes.
  5. Ensure timely delivery of operating handbooks and client training.

AutoCAD:

  1. Create process flow schematics, P&ID, and plant layouts.
  2. Ensure equipment fits and is accessible.
  3. Manage documentation in line with procedures and schedules.

Validation:

  1. Produce validation documents such as IQ, OQ protocols, and commissioning sheets.
  2. Ensure proper documentation and traceability of water treatment systems.
  3. Compile certification and operation manuals for clients.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of pharma norms, GMP, GAMP, ASME BPE.
  • Familiarity with pharma utilities like softening, reverse osmosis, electrodeionisation, etc.
  • Understanding of waste water technologies.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with P&ID drawings and functional specifications.
  • Cost-awareness and design analysis skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Awareness of health and safety risks.
