Stantec is seeking a Project Ecologist to join our growing ecology team in Ireland. You will contribute to infrastructure and development projects, delivering habitat, flora and fauna surveys and ecological assessments.
You will produce high-quality technical reports (EcIA, PEA, NIS, EIAR) and provide ecological input through planning, design, construction and operation, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive environmental outcomes.

As a Project Ecologist, you'll play an important role in delivering ecological services across a wide variety of infrastructure and development projects. You'll undertake habitat, flora and fauna surveys, contribute to ecological assessments, and prepare high-quality technical reports including Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEA), Appropriate Assessment Screening reports, Natura Impact Statements (NIS) and EIAR chapters.
Working closely with experienced ecologists and multidisciplinary project teams, you'll provide ecological advice throughout the planning, design, construction and operational stages of projects, helping to deliver positive environmental outcomes for our clients. You'll collaborate with colleagues across a range of disciplines, contribute to technical excellence within the team, and continue developing your ecological knowledge and consultancy skills as you build your career with Stantec.
