Job summary

STS Group, headquartered in Ireland, is seeking a strategic Project Director to deliver multiple concurrent projects across Ireland. You will lead Project Managers, oversee commercial and planning activities, and ensure safety, quality, and profitability while building strong client relationships.

Based in Waterford, Cork, or Dublin, you will drive preconstruction strategies and coordinate Civil/Structural/Architectural packages with a focus on leadership and business acumen to grow the

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering Degree or recognised trade qualification.
• 10+ years' experience managing large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of high voltage electrical infrastructure, regulatory requirements, and preconstruction strategies.
• Strong knowledge of the Irish MV/HV sector - the clients and consultants.
• Knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural packages.
• Proven leadership skills with a strategic mindset and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple concurrent projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Provide functional oversight and mentoring of Project Managers.
• Oversee commercial management, planning, procurement, construction, quality assurance and health & safety.
• Develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.

We are part of the Dussman Group, a large-scale and privately-owned facility management specialist headquartered in Berlin. Our Opportunity

Our Transmission & Distribution division is delivering a number of projects across Ireland, and we are now looking to enable a new Project Director to further grow and manage our project portfolio. This role will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring we meet our objectives in relation to safety, service excellence, profitability, and the development of client and stakeholder relationships.

Our new Project Director will exercise functional oversight over all aspects of the projects under their control, including commercial management, planning, procurement, construction, quality assurance, health and safety, engineering, and the development and training of project personnel. This responsibility is fulfilled through the effective leadership, management, and support of the Project Managers assigned to each project.

This role can be based out of our Waterford, Cork or Dublin offices.
