Project Coordinator

Our client, a leading organisation delivering large-scale IT change initiatives, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a Senior Project Manager in the successful delivery of complex IT programmes. This is a contract position ideally suited to a highly organised individual with a strong grounding in project management principles, but who does not need to be from a technical background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on support to the Senior Project Manager across multiple workstreams
  • Maintain and track project schedules, RAID logs, action items, and documentation
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project timelines are adhered to
  • Assist with resource coordination, meeting preparation, and minute-taking
  • Ensure compliance with internal project governance and reporting frameworks

Requirements:

  • A third-level qualification in Project Management (e.g. Diploma, Degree, or Certification)
  • Proven experience in a coordination or PMO support role within IT or business change projects
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities in a structured manner
