Job summary

Arup is seeking a Project Contract Administrator to support transport and infrastructure projects across Ireland, including our Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Limerick offices. You will provide trusted commercial and strategic advice, manage contract administration, and collaborate with engineering, procurement and client teams to ensure governance and records are maintained.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in contract administration, contract management, procurement or related role.
  • Familiarity with public works contracts and work-package documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of Public Works Contracts for transport and infrastructure projects, working primarily from the Employer’s Representative side
  • Help manage contractual obligations and communications, including contractor correspondence, instructions, clarifications, notices, queries, and change-related items
  • Maintain accurate project and contract records, including action logs, correspondence registers, change registers, risk items, and payment-related records
  • Work closely with engineering, commercial, procurement, and client teams to ensure contract requirements and project processes are followed in practice
  • Contribute to tender and procurement activities, including tender documentation, clarifications, evaluation support, and governance records

In this role, you will provide trusted commercial and strategic advice to clients, working with multidisciplinary teams to help procure, manage, and optimise contracts effectively. You will also support the development of junior colleagues and contribute to the growth of the team. As part of Arup’s wider advisory business, you will help clients deliver smarter, more sustainable infrastructure through a collaborative approach that combines technical, commercial, and strategic expertise.

As Project Contract Administrator At Arup, You Will

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related qualification
  • 4+ years’ experience in contract administration, contract management, procurement, commercial management, or a related project delivery role, ideally within transport, infrastructure, engineering, construction, or public sector projects
  • Good understanding of public works contract documentation, including conditions of contract, works requirements, tender documents, schedules, pricing documents, and contract correspondence
  • Experience supporting tender and contract administration processes, including tender preparation, clarifications, evaluations, contractor queries, instructions, registers, and project records
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with confidence managing documentation, correspondence, actions, and multiple workstreams
