Job summary

Google Ireland Ltd. is seeking a Program Manager to lead comprehensive Environmental Health and Safety initiatives across multiple regions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
• 5 years of experience leading program portfolios.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Master's degree or PhD in a related field preferred.
• Experience working with vendors to improve EHS programs and governance.
• Experience in resource tracking, process optimization and data-driven risk management.
• Experience operating across complex geographies (EMEA/APAC) adapting global programs locally.

Responsibilities

• Support annual EHS Operations planning cycles, business reviews and resource tracking with regional area managers.
• Partner with regional area managers to unblock administrative barriers and optimize day-to-day processes.
• Serve as primary EHS contact for ambiguous projects and define the path forward for zero harm.
• Coordinate with global EHS stakeholders to roll up regional actions and ensure alignment with global strategy (EMEA/APAC).
• Conduct cultural and regional audits across EMEA/APAC to localize EHS campaigns and standards.

Partner closely with regional area managers to unblock administrative barriers, optimize day-to-day operational processes and compress critical project cycle times. Serve as the primary EHS point of contact for ambiguous projects where no clear precedent exists, defining the path forward for zero harm. Cooperate closely with global EHS stakeholders to roll up regional actions, strategic plans and performance metrics, ensuring EMEA/APAC initiatives are seamlessly integrated into the global EHS strategy. Perform targeted cultural and regional audits across EMEA/APAC to ensure EHS campaigns, processes, and standards are appropriately localized and effective.
