Job description

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and stabilise a critical, large-scale program at a leading medical device manufacturing site in Limerick. This role will focus on coordinating and bringing structure to a portfolio of interrelated projects centred on automation and packaging lines—some in early development, others in delayed delivery phases. The program is currently the highest priority within the site’s operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess the current program status across multiple packaging & automation projects
• Implement clear structure, governance, and reporting
• Develop realistic delivery plans and recovery strategies for delayed projects
• Drive alignment and accountability across project teams and stakeholders
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies within the program
• Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to leadership
• Ensure consistent execution to deliver key program outcomes

Requirements:

• Proven track record of managing complex programs within a regulated manufacturing environment (ideally Medical Devices, Pharma, or similar)
• Deep experience in automation and packaging line programs
• Strong project recovery and turnaround experience
• Ability to work hands-on with multiple teams and senior stakeholders
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
