Job summary

Elis Ireland is seeking a dedicated Production Manager (finishing & packing) to lead daily production operations at the Pottery Road site. You will drive quality, efficiency, and safety while developing your team and coordinating with maintenance, logistics, and service colleagues.

As a hands-on leader, you will optimise resources, monitor KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to support growth and high performance in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a production, manufacturing, logistics, or similar operations environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is essential.
• Strong organisational, communication, and people-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Results-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Flexibility to work across shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production operations to ensure targets for quality, output, and efficiency are achieved.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively, ensuring optimum staffing levels and workflow.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, performance, and workplace organisation.
• Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data, and implement corrective actions where required.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and promote a strong safety culture onsite.
• Support, coach, and develop team leaders and production staff to achieve high performance.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Logistics, and Service departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Contribute to operational planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
